ABOUT MIGAS

A little piece of Argentina, in the heart of Copenhagen.

Migas is the Argentine grocery store in Østerbro, Copenhagen. Here you'll find the things you miss from home or want to try for the first time: many varieties of yerba mate, dulce de leche, alfajores, freshly made empanadas, and a curated selection of Argentine wines.

THE ORIGIN

It started with a sandwich

One morning, Pablo woke up craving a sanguchito de miga, that simple, beautiful, perfectly layered Argentine sandwich you can't quite explain to anyone who hasn't had one. He reached for it, and then remembered: he was in Copenhagen. It didn't exist here.

That moment of absence became a project. Then a store. Then, slowly, something much more.

"Un día me desperté con muchas ganas de comer un sanguchito de miga pero caí en la cuenta de que estaba en Copenhague y era imposible conseguir una cosa tan hermosa, tan simple y compleja."

— Pablo Robilotte, founder of Migas

THE PLACE

Korsørgade 36, like a corner of the Argentine interior

Migas sits on a quiet street in Østerbro. Walk in and the first thing you notice are the ceilings, high and open, and then the shelves, floor to ceiling, stacked with the kind of products you'd find in a Buenos Aires almacén de barrio.

    Korsørgade 36, st. 2 · 2100 København

  • Over 100 imported products

Yerba mate, dulce de leche, alfajores, wines and more.

Loved by the local Argentine community and Copenhageners alike.

THE PEOPLE

Pablo built this with a community

Pablo arrived in Copenhagen in 2022, drawn by the openness of Danish society. He speaks slowly and creates warmth around him. He lights up around new ideas, and around the people who make them possible. Migas isn't just his project. Behind each shelf is a network of small producers and friends who believe that working together makes everyone grow.

"Escuchando y preguntando. Hay mucha gente haciendo cosas muy interesantes y creo que el trabajo en comunidad nos hace crecer a todos."

— Pablo, on building a supplier network

A friend who makes cuadritos with mate designs. Another who bakes gluten-free sweets. Someone who does the stickers. Each product on the shelves has a person behind it.

WHAT PEOPLE LOVE

Not just for Argentines

Empanadas have found their way into the hearts of Copenhageners. The concept just works. Argentine wine has a strong reputation here, and Danes increasingly reach for it. And the sanguchito de miga? More and more locals are taking the leap.
